The Challenge
With the June 30th deadline 2 months away, I was hired as the Sr. CX Design Lead to help increase overall production in design of key product pages, services pages, solutions pages and to help assist in the successful migration of the new website to their SiteCore DAM.
The challenge was to keep images technology forward, yet user-centered in approach visualizing the content in a way that looks interesting, engaging and makes the text appear aesthetic and simple. Managing multiple stakeholders with different products, and visions regarding their specific product page design also became a challenge in execution. However, I was able to maintain best practices regarding our outlined CX strategy while meeting stakeholder expectations.

The Research
As a new member of the team, coming in helping to align CX strategy was crucial to the successful execution in design of key services pages. To understand how Extreme Networks stacks up against their competitors, I compiled an quick yet extensive competitor analysis snapshot.
This snapshot ultimately helped make a compelling argument for stakeholder buy-ins for more human-centered approach to images used to create dynamic experience on webpages.

Design and A/B Testing
The use of journey maps and personas were used to make informed design decisions on page. As a result of these activities, we were able to identify the most important functionality needed for our target audience conversion. Defining all the basic elements in advance helped to design fast and consistent throughout the project.
Style changes later on were easy to orchestrate. All easily maintainable via the intuitive Sitecore DAM (Digital Asset Management) platform. Using Extreme Networks existing brand system in Figma, I began wireframe design for sections including:
- Services Pages (main landing page, professional, support, premier, and customer success)
- WiFi6 and WiFi6E
- 404 Error Page
- SD-Wan for Retail and Retail Page
- Industry Recognition Page
- Company Page
- Technical Training Page
- Extreme Connect Page
- How to Buy
Key focus was on using human-centered images.
Website Migration, Responsiveness and Mobile Testing
After the successful migration of the WordPress webpages to the new Sitecore DAM, I was a part of the web team defect reports team fixing broken links, images, and reporting responsiveness issues plaguing the new website.
